Black Student Sues Former High School for "Wigger Day"

When it's a racial battle between whites and blacks, I simply want to distance myself as far as possible. Wait, can I even refer to them as whites and blacks? Because if I use color to describe them, I have to refer to my Asian self into a color term that is just plain racist no matter where you come from.

In any case, a lawsuit in Minnesota pits a black student against his former high school over celebrating "Wigger Day" during homecoming week where white students dressed up and pretended to be black. Allegedly the black student got so depressed that she ALMOST dropped out of school. But she still kept her wits to sue the school for $75,000 in damages.

On one hand, the high school was pretty boneheaded in creating this Wigger Day. Encouraging white kids (and presumably any other kids with various degrees of skin pigmentation) to portray the gangsta caricature can definitely be filed under "Lawsuit Waiting to Happen" thanks to political correctness and racial sensitivity.

And let me be bluntly honest here and damn political correctness. Sagging your pants to your knees, stuffing diamonds or gold into your teeth while living in a slum, and treating women like dogs to stick your joy department into makes you look like a despicable low-life imbecile regardless of melanin level.

On the other hand, why is the former student suing the school years after the incident (these Wigger days for her took place between 2007 and 2009)? If she really was traumatically affected by it, she should have done what any decent student would do over anything that offends him/her and protest as a student. There has to be a statute of limitations against these alleged offenses. And her demands for $75,000 do not exactly raise sympathy for her cause. Racial sensitivity and diversity training for the school would be more effective and cost much less.

So forget white versus black in this court case. After much analysis, it's now simply Idiots vs Gold Diggers. At least now it's more racially sensitive after dropping the races involved.

Ideally this case gets resolved and never reaches national proportions. I can probably predict that the whites and the blacks will eventually compromise. They will agree to host a Yellow Day where both whites and blacks will dress up as Asians.

To which the Asian countries lending money to America will say, "Cool, we were going to make you do that anyway when we foreclose on your country."
