Black Women Are Always Angry in Commercials .
In Case You Were Living Under a Rock and Did Not Know that Black Women Were Angry, Perhaps These Commercials Can Help You Out .
At the end of the day men are attracted to strong females. So one is led to believe that the violence occurred over time and that the man has become desensitized to negative behavior, that he is conditioned to expect it as part of the relationship. Another interesting omission is the lack of affection or physical and sexual contact, though interestingly enough, when the White woman who is already in good shape and where the Black women wants her to man to be takes interest, he is responsive to her flirting and reciprocates. But we can analyze this commercial to death, for one the average individual responds to flirting regardless of what situation they may find themselves to be in.
Men like attractive women, and attractive women like attention. You could theorize about how the White woman was not afraid of the Black woman, but the Black man was, and how they both ran off together because they were afraid of the authorities. Is a Black woman's anger at White women such that she would inflict harm or even put herself in that position? How about the idea that any woman who put herself in that position would find herself in a situation that she could not explain her way out of? You can even draw an analogy between the high caffeine content of the product, the negative energy in the relationship, and the hostility of the Black woman. One can say a lot in 30 seconds.
One thing that I have noticed is that Black women are always being portrayed as angry. A State Farm commercial shows a Black man summon a claims adjuster, a smart move. You would think that the Black woman would be happy that someone is there to help them out of the situation, but instead she wants a new boyfriend. If you notice closely, she finishes the adjusters sentence, "with a new boyfriend", and he turns into this beefcake. He wants a new girlfriend, and she turns into a video vixen. The adjuster says "Okay ..." which if you read in-between the lines is her take on their relationship. If you really want to read into this the adjuster, herself a woman, is helping to better the situation while his girlfriend only complicates things.
Both commercials are patently racist. But it is hard to watch either commercial without laughing at them. At least once a year we see a commercial with an angry Black woman, someone who is sophisticated and intelligent, but a fool when it comes to men. The commercials never show the Black women themselves in a position of power, but in a position where they lose whatever power they had, typically that over a man, and have to digress to using their feminine wiles to address the situation. Black men are always showed as a victim that needs a woman of a different race to help him out. Whatever the case Black women are angry, on some level, and you cannot deal with them in a one on one situation without calling for reinforcements. This is the message that has always existed, and one that will always persist ...
