Blade Runner was Perfect Except

Fantastic Movie Except

Falling Man
Recently watched the "Blade Runner: The Final Cut" DVD and was reminded of how spectacularly well executed this movie was. Ridley Scott ripe off the success of Alien created this Dysopian, Noir masterpiece. Spectacular design, great casting and well paced. Harrison Ford showed new depth as the less than together Deckard with great supporting performances all round. Rutger Hauer was menacing a Roy Batty, Sean Young was excellent as the newly tormented love interest and Edward James Olmos in a limited role played Deckards competition and "Shadow" filling out other elements of the story.

But...

And I know some will violently disagree.

I thought the Vangelis soundtrack, of which it was nominated for a BAFTA Award, was awful. The excessive 80's Synth was a constant distraction throughout the whole film. I found myself regularly noticing the music which pulled me out of the film.

One mans opinion.
