Blake Shelton will be the headline act at the 2011 World Ag Expo on February 8, 2011 in Tulare, California for a fundraising concert to benefit agriculture in the state of California. The 2011 World Ag Exp will be the largest farm equipment show in the world with thousands of people in attendance. And if they needed to pull more people through the door, adding a benefit concert with Blake Shelton was a smart move.

Shelton, who skyrocketed to stardom in the country music world in 2010 was named the Country Music Associations Male Vocalist of the Year, and will perform on the opening day of the 2011 World Ag Expo.

The fundraising concert was scheduled to raise money for several different organizations with one goal in mind explained by Stacey Beachy, Director of Corporate Partnerships for the International Agri-Center. "The goal of the event is to further the message of California agriculture and its multi-billion-dollar contribution to the state's economy. Family owned farms and ranches, across the state, are economic engines for most small to medium sized communities. By supporting our farmers and ranchers we keep thousands of other support jobs going strong." Proceeds from the concert will be divided amongst the organizations with amounts to be determined by a Board.

The benefit concert will be held in a new Entertainment Pavilion at the World Ag Expo. Tickets for the event went on sale on December 22, 2010 and will be prices from $40.00 to $80 per ticket. Tickets can be purchased online at World Ag Expo.

Blake Shelton has seven number one hit singles to his credit and has been nominated for a Grammy for his single 'Hillbilly Bone.' Shelton's newly released CD titled 'LOADED: The Best of Blake Shelton' debuted in the top ten on the country music charts.

Shelton recently became engaged to fellow country superstar Miranda Lambert. Lambert is the current CMA Female Vocalist of the Year. The couple are planning a spring 2011 wedding.

David Nail and Stealing Angels will be performing on the second day of the World Ag Expo on February 9, 2011. Tickets for this concert event will be $25 to $65 per ticket.

The 2011 World Ag Expo will feature exhibits on agricultural products, host seminars, tours and other quality entertainment. Tickets for the Expo must be purchased separately for $12.00 each.

I like him a lot. What a great cause too! California farmers are not only important for their own state's economy but the country's as well

I have never heard of him, but I am a creature of habit and tend to listen to my favorites.
