Building on last year's deep and wild fighting hit, BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, which was a big hit with those who like crazy characters and complex action, BlazBlue Continuum Shift, also developed by Aksys Games, and published by Arc System Works, was just released, hitting store shelves on July 27, this past Tuesday. Actually more of a refinement to the original than a full sequel, BlazBlue Continuum Shift brings to the table the addition of some great new modes, along with some new characters and balancing refinements, definitely making this the version of BlazBlue that you should own. With its very diverse roster of fighters, that run the gamut from characters that are easier to handle and manage, to those more difficult to master. Yet overall, the game plays with very capable ease for those who like this genre of video game.
Again, what has basically already set up this game to be a sure hit was its predecessor, last year's BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger. So, Without much ado, one top video game retailer, Game Spot, scores this one with a great 8.0, along with higher scores from some critics and users. BlazBlue Continuum Shift is developed for Playstation 3 and XBox360 video game systems, and retails for about $40, making it one of the must- have games for this summer. This is one game where I'm sure of that tired, yet true saying, "You won't be disappointed!" in your game- playing experience with BlazBlue Continuum Shift.
