Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII

Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII is a flight simulation shooter game created by Ubisoft. Have any interest in World War 2? Get ready to be entranced then, cause this game is for you.

Story : The story takes place in Word War 2. You are a fighter pilot and your missions range from retrieval to sieges. Overall, if you have any interest in WWII this game is likely to blow your mind. The story veers off from it's World War themes a few times but generally speaking it stays the course quite well.

Graphics : Graphically, this game is flat out stunning. Everything in it is jaw droppingly beautiful and like something out of an elaborate Hollywood film. I can't put in words how much I love this game's graphics. There's so much to look at and be blown away by here, you'll never really get bored by it. So many great graphical effects in this game. My favorite are the trails left by the plane. Utterly spectacular.

Sound : The sound in this game is extremely underrated. The music is basically based on World War 2 movie music and it's amazing. A lot of triumphant music here, and it's all fantastic. Stunningly arranged and composed. The atmosphere in this game is flat out amazing. The sound effects are very crisp and engaging. Let me just say again, the atmosphere in this game is flat out amazing.

Game play : The game play in this game is average. The game has crisp controls and sensitivity but not much else. It's not a boring game, but it's not something that totally engages you either. If you like World War 2 at all, this game is extremely gripping. If you have no interest in it, you may find yourself having trouble sticking to this game. Regardless, the game is really solid but is mostly ideal to short plays every now and then.

I can't say this enough though, if you have any interest at all in World War 2 this is a dream game. I, myself, love reading and learning more about World War 2 and I feel this game does a good job with honoring our heroes who've passed and perhaps teaching us a thing or two about modern history's most violent war.

Re playability : This game isn't very re playable unfortunately, there isn't much to be done that you won't do the first time around.

Overall : 8/10 if you like World War 2, 6/10 if you don't.
