Blend the Colors in Your Flower Arrangement to Create a Magnificently Appropriate Mood

If there is one thing that can be considered influential in all the aspects of our lives, it is color. Color conveys different feelings such as cool or warm feelings, feelings of sadness, tranquility, love or cheerfulness. It can also divert or draw your attention. When it comes to flower arranging it is important to take time and decide on the colors you will use before starting the project. This is because how you bland the colors can break or make the design.

There are several different flowers in that differ in terms of shade and tone. This is attributed to continual crossbreeding and is very true for roses. There are several types of roses of every imaginable shade. Today we even have roses with three different colored petals. No wander roses are a favorite of a majority of customers and florists.

The color wheel comes in handy in helping one arrange colors. The color wheel is made up of intermediate, primary and secondary colors.

Passionate, strong and hot are the attributes of the red color. In an arrangement red serves to create drama. Yellow on the other hand is a happy color. Yellow evokes an anticipation feeling. It also evokes the feeling of cheerfulness a reason why mot baby and birthday arrangements always contain the yellow color.

Blue is considered a cool color and evokes feelings of relaxation.

We get secondary colors by combining primary colors. Orange is a result of yellow and red, purple from blue and read and green is from blue and yellow.

Though not as hot as red, orange is still a dramatic color. For an autumn feel, combine red-orange, yellow, brown and gold colors. This combination will definitely make a bold statement.

Though vibrant, purple poses a calming effect unlike orange and red. For a smoothing and vibrant arrangement combine pink, blue, a small amount of yellow and purple.

Green is considered a universal color as it can blend with any color arrangement. An effective way of coming up with incredible flower arrangements is to start with three different shades of green before adding in flowers.

Depending on the mood you wish to create, you can use any color combination in their different shades. Mixing purple, a bit of white, yellow and red creates contrast and contrast makes very bold statements. Use this combination if you want drama.
