The field for the 136th running of the Kentucky Derby, set for May 1 at Churchill Downs, is set to be announced Wednesday afternoon from the Secretariat Lounge in the Churchill Downs clubhouse.

Meanwhile, the field for the all-filly Kentucky Oaks, which begins at 5:45 p.m. Friday, April 30, was set on Tuesday. The $500,000 Grade I race is a mile-and-an-eighth long.

Blind Luck is the Morning Line favorite at 6-5 after Devil May Care pulled out of the Kentucky Oaks to enter the Kentucky Derby. Devil May Care takes the place of Eskendereya, the early Kentucky Derby favorite who was pulled from the race on Monday with a leg injury.

Blind Luck has won six of nine races with more than $1 million in earnings.
