Bling Your Christmas Wreath This Season
Christmas is Coming! Decorate Your Christmas Wreath to the Max!
One of the best ways to bling your Christmas wreath is by using creative items that will make your wreath look unique and stand out. So you can use tiny Christmas ornaments for example, but use Christmas ornaments that are a bit different - maybe with a beachy theme, or a casino theme. Take this opportunity to really show your personality. Don't just go with those little metallic sparkly balls everyone picks up. The smaller ornaments are less expensive than the larger ones, and often they are sold in sets. You will want to tie them onto your wreath using pretty ribbon, so that even the tying of the ornaments looks pretty but make sure you double knot those bows! This will keep your ornaments well in place. Satin bows are the best choice as they hang nice and full and soft.
Classic items can be fun to use too, such as miniature candy canes for your Christmas wreath. But don't just put six or a dozen of them on your Christmas wreath and call it a day - put lots of them on! Make the wreath look beautiful but give it an excessive look so everyone knows you are a bit candy cane crazy. Tie on a big red bow at the bottom of your wreath, or for extra bling get a metallic red bow to really make your wreath shimmer and shine. To tie the candy canes on use small satin bows for a pretty look, or if you don't want that many bows, consider using fishing line and tying small loops around each candy cane. It won't be visible except for really up close.
Another great way to bling up your Christmas wreath is to add sparkly lights. These you will need to run on a battery pack and you can find these at many major gardening stores, or even at your large grocery stores during the holiday times. You may go through several rounds of batteries during the holidays, but the lights will certainly make your wreath memorable. Remember to keep decorative items away from the lights, to not create a fire hazard.
Make your Christmas wreath as individual as you are. There are so many things you can do to make your Christmas wreath special and fun. To share your love of family you could hang small picture frames in the wreath showing members of your family and moments during the year that you have enjoyed. That would be a very special wreath indeed.
May you enjoy all of the beauties and joys of the Christmas season. And remember to bling your Christmas wreath!
