But I recently got bored with my normal facial cleanser and longed for a new one, which is when I remembered that I had the Bliss Spa Fabulous Foaming Face Wash. The label claimed that it was for all skin types, and that it "leaves skin clean, hydrated and fresh." The label also said that it had rose hips, chamomile and passion flower.
It sounded great, but I was skeptical when I read the label on the back and realized it was full of harsh ingredients like sodium laureth sulfate, parabens, and other chemicals I couldn't even pronounce. But I was willing to give it a try.
The Foaming Face Wash is a blue gel and when I applied it with a little bit of water it became this light bubbly foam that gently cleansed my face and removed the oil from it. I was happily surprised to find that the wash had small beads scattered throughout it because I hadn't exfoliated my skin in weeks. The beads were so small and smooth that I could barely even feel them.
I also really enjoyed the fragrance of the Fabulous Foaming Face Wash from the famous spa. Most facial cleansers either are unscented or smell rather medicinal but the Bliss Spa cleanser was like a fruity bubble gum scent that reminded me of a bubble bath I used as a kid.
Once I rinsed the Bliss cleanser my face felt really smooth. For the most part it felt balanced and hydrated except for my nose, which feels dry no matter what I use. My skin actually looked a lot brighter than it had in weeks, which is probably because of the exfoliation beads so I was pleased with the results and thought I looked pretty fabulous.
In the End...
For a couple of weeks now I've been using the Bliss Spa Fabulous Face Foaming Wash and I've found it to be a fairly gentle cleanser for the most part, and it's kept my skin feeling soft and looking bright.
But right now my face, especially my nose is a little bit sensitive because of allergies so I'm going to use more moisturizing face wash for the time being, but I'll go back to using the Bliss Wash during the summer, because I'm sure it will keep my skin looking balanced and less oily during that time.
A regular bottle of the Bliss Spa Fabulous Foaming Face Wash costs $22, and even though I'm pleased with the results I'm not sure if I'll buy a bottle or if I'll continue to look for something better. I give it 4 out of 5 stars though, it's a good cleanser.
