World of Warcraft is an MMORPG that has millions of registered players and with the recently available The Burning Crusade expansion, it seems like it'll only continue to grow. With the new announced expansion, players will be able to do things never done before. The new level cap will be raised to 80 and it introduces a completely new land: Northend. The Deathknight class will not be available for everyone and it will also feature customized hairstyles! Not much other information was revealed.
However, Starcraft II was, without a doubt, the most coveted game by the players at Blizzcon. During one of the demonstrations, as soon as Jim Raynor, an old character from the original Starcraft, was shown on the big screen, there were cheers everywhere. The demonstration showed the Terran single-player and how it would function. Rather than playing through missions like the original Starcraft, it's much more open-ended as you guide the main character to points of interest, earn cash during missions and upgrade between missions. Also revealed was that there would be a lot of information shown in the single-player mode about the Starcraft universe, possibly revealing even more of the secrets that await.
This wasn't the only thing shown. Terrans were shown in much more detail, revealing several new units and concepts. We now know that Protoss is nearing completion and Terran is also very far along. The Zerg, however, were no where to be seen. That's ok. The new things shown were more than enough for most people as everyone was in awe. It was a beautiful sight for all.
Regarding the melee tournament, I only followed the Starcraft tournament. I thought Savior would win and I was right. Watching the pros move the through the screen was amazing. It's something that you won't understand until you've seen it for real.
And finally, for all the Starcraft people out there (since I'm a huge fan of Starcraft), the Xel' Naga are coming back! Check out the single-player demo movie which can be found on numerous sites over the internet showing the the cinematic at the end. Truly amazing.

Love math which probably lead to my interest in programming; later started the violin which lead to music which is starting to overpower the programming side. College now. Yay. View profile
