BlogCharm.com SCAM!
I chose Blog charm because it was recommended to someone because it pays its user for blogging there. They basically split their ad revenue with you. The higher traffic and page rank you have the more money you will make. Now my blog was a PR2 and I was making $0.50 a day so once a month I was hitting pay out of $10. So I would have been making an extra $120 a month just for hosting my blog here.
Now I reached pay out 2 different times and requested my pay out. One was 3 months ago and one was back in Jan of 2007. Both are still pending.
So I wrote Blog Charm support (who is owned by Blog Explosion) and expressed my problem. Three weeks go by and nothing, which alerts me being their help forum, says I will be contacted in 24 to 48 hours and my help ticket hasn't even been touched yet. So I send a second ticket and I express that they 'urgently need to get in touch with me before I take further action'. 3 more weeks go by and still nothing. So this time I did some research and came across 23 other people who were going through the same thing so in a week's period we all sent a help ticket saying we demand our payment in 7 day or else we are going to the BBB and would take legal action. Many of these members I came in contact with were owed over $100 from blog charm.
So right after I sent that email I transferred my blog to Blogger.com and now have to start over with my PR and traffic and so much more!
Now, I still have received nothing from Blog Charm and neither have any of the other Blog Charm members I have been in contact with. So as I got ready to submit this article today as a warning to anybody else thinking of using blog charm and for anybody on Blog Charm, I logged into my account only to find I don't have an account anymore. Apparently nobody does because at the 1st of the year Blog Charm shut down! Now they have a message on their front page which you can read here where they say we want to pay all our members and to confirm you email address. Well when you go to that page all you do is submit an email address no way of linking to your account nothing! Yet another scam from Blog Charm!

Post a CommentBlog Charm was the biggest scam and waste of money and now the company that owns them, BlogExplosion (Blog Explosion) is doing the same thing, promising things that are not delivered and serving ads that carry malware. Stay away from anything BlogExplosion is even remotely involved with. They are dishonest.
