The Sign Up And Approval Process
The sign-up process is really quite simple. In your browser of choice go to: Blogsvertise.com, and click on the "Blogger Registration" button. Fill out the registration form and wait for the confirmation email. The confirmation email will have a link you have to click which will confirm your email address and activate your account. Once you've confirmed and activated your account, login and add your blog address and site information, so Blogsvertise.com can review your blog for acceptance or denial.
As a last step Blogsvertise.com will send a final email letting you know that everything has been setup and activated, and as part of the approval process, you will be asked to write a post about their Web site, to make sure you understand the posting process. The review period can take up to 24 hours, so be patient, but by all means don't wait too long (or forget) to write your sample post.
After Approval
Once you've been approved (you'll get a confirmation email either way), you can go back to their Web site and finish setting your profile. Make sure to completely fill-in your profile and hang a picture of yourself. Also, be sure to fill-in the keywords option related to your explicit blog.
Not really knowing what's available in the queue, be aware it can take up to several days to get your first assignments, so be patient. Blogsvertise.com does also offer it's "grab bag" option. The grab bag is assignments that may show up in your blog profile from time to time for assignments that didn't get accepted by other bloggers.
The Writing Rules
Writing for Blogsvertise.com really is quite simple in that all they ask of their bloggers is to write a blog post (anyway you want to) about your assignment. The post needs to include 3 back links to the assigned site, but you can write the post anyway you like. Blogsvertise.com does also ask that you write at least a minimum of 75 words, but that's really about it. I just recently completed my first assignment with Blogsvertise.com, and now I'm waiting in the approval process, but I have a really good feeling this is going to become a regular gig.
