1. The Blowhard: Someone who thinks they are always right. They always challenge others who disagree with them. They sometimes make veiled threats, physical and verbal, against the wood-be commenter who happens to disagree. They must always get the last word and they demonstrate the overwhelming need to be the "Producer Grandiose." They resort to bully tactics in order to intimidate the wood-be disagreeing commenter into capitulation. They may be very intelligent but lose most folks with the above mentioned tactics. On the entertainment scale they get "Five Stars." Note: They are sometimes referred to as the "Self Proclaimed Know It All."
2. The Pseudo-Intellectual: Someone who doesn't have a clue as to what's going on in the world but purports that they do. Generally speaking, they don't have a clue as to the proper usage of grammar and they demonstrates a total disregard for correct spelling. They can not coherently defend any point they are trying to make and they employ a total logical disconnect in their efforts to. These folks generally lose interest in writing rather quickly, if they have half a brain. If they have no brain they tend to hang on a little longer, just to annoy the Ba'Jesus out of the rest of us. They are also known to produce crappy poetry. On the entertainment scale they get "Three Stars." Note: They only get that many stars because of the, "WHAT THE HELL IS HE TRYING TO SAY," factor. They also tend to delete any negative comments.
3. The Arrogant Intellectual: Closely related to "The Blowhard" and at times hard to differentiate. The "Arrogant Intellectual" tends to have their facts straight and indeed is hard to argue with because of their vast knowledge and quick recall. They also tend to produce copious quantities of sometimes mind numbing gibberish. Gibberish that the average person can not or will not take the time to understand. In their defense however, they can be quite entertaining and witty. On the entertainment scale they get "Four Stars." Note: These producers usually tend to be the most successful.
The "Arrogant Intellectual" I do find somewhat entertaining and I tend to believe them more than most of the other aforementioned producers. However, the "Blowhard" producers, despite their faults, are far more entertaining to read. I enjoy reading the "Blowhard" because they are just begging for a typewritten "Beat Down" sometimes. Their replies to said "Beat Down" can be quite entertaining in and of themselves. That's just one more reason I advocate reading the "Blowhard". Well, I've said my piece and gave my opinion, and remember what I said about those?! Have fun everyone, relax, enjoy, wind down and read AC content with a cup of Joe in your hand. Now may we all let the "Good Times Roll" and let the "Beat Downs" commence!

;-)
Who knew there was another side to AC! I thought it was all about Cheerio reviews & pimpin' page views. Tonight, I caught a glimpse of a different beast. ha. After, I read your Blowhard piece which was right on the $, I noticed your contact bud- Blowhard. Entertaining, to say the very least. Thanks for some great reading & making me laugh.
I really enjoyed reading this! I think under the right circumstances we are all capable of morphing in and out of these characters that you described. There are folks who know what buttons to push, and others who respond with a big explosion when their aforementioned buttons are pushed. Some folks feel out of sorts if they're not in the middle of a big controversy. So, like you said, all of this makes for a very entertaining time here on AC. :)
Thanks Monique.
This was fun to read. Thanks! i give you 5 stars without the blowhard title. Just this once! LMAO
Because I was Skeeert! LOL
Hey Deez, Why didn't you name names? This ambiguity sucks and we all feel like you are neglecting us.
Kat, you are soooo smart! LOL
