Anyone that knows me will tell you that I'm a huge fan of peanut butter. I've purchased many brands of ice cream over the years that contained peanut butter cups, but recently, I spotted a new kind to try. Blue Bell Happy Tracks Ice Cream is a blend of vanilla ice cream, peanut butter cups and a fudge swirl. I had seen this same combination created by several other companies, but decided to give it a try. After all, Blue Bell makes fairly good ice cream and it had peanut butter in it '" need I say more?
I've always been a fan of Blue Bell Vanilla Ice Cream and was happy that the flavor was the base of the Happy Tracks variety. I was also pleased that the fudge swirl was a nice, thick fudge that you had to chew. Last, but not least, I loved that there were several peanut butter cups in the mix. With that being said, I don't think that this brand was any better than the other brands I've tried that had the same combination. I wouldn't say that the ice cream was spectacular by any means. Don't get me wrong. The peanut butter cups were tasty and the ice cream and fudge were tasty, but Blue Bell doesn't live up to the price. Frankly, I would much rather purchase Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream because the quality matches the price. At a price of over $6 per half gallon, I feel that the consumer is getting ripped off.
A serving of Blue Bell Happy Tracks Ice Cream is half a cup. This serving has 210 calories, 12 grams of fat, 7 grams of saturated fat, 30mg of cholesterol, 60mg of sodium, 22 grams of carbohydrates, 0 grams of fiber, 21 grams of sugar and 4 grams of protein.
I would have to give this flavor 3 out 5 stars. It isn't bad ice cream by any means, but it's nothing special either. If you already have a favorite brand that makes this flavor, chances are you won't think that this tastes any better. I recommend it to those that have never tried this combination, but certainly wouldn't recommend rushing out and buying it.

excellent
Thanks for the review. Sorry it did not quite meet your expectations, though. I'm a big fan of peanut butter too, especially when it's added to ice cream. I tried a moose tracks ice cream recently with peanut butter cups and fudge swirl and it was amazing! Even my husband, who isn't into sweets that much, really liked it.
