The thing I love about Blue Bunny Ice Cream is that no matter how long it has been in the freezer and how high your freezer is set the ice cream is always easy to scoop and soft. I've never experienced ice cream like this. I also love the fact that Blue Bunny Ice Cream comes in the stay fresh plastic container with a lid while most other ice creams come in cardboard cartons that get squishy each time you take them out of the freezer. This experience with Blue Bunny Ice Cream Peanut Butter Panic was what I expected, smooth and easy to scoop.
Reaching for the spoon I took my first bite and immediately tasted peanut butter. The ice cream had a peanut butter flavoring that reminded me of my grandmother's peanut butter pies. I have noticed in the past that sometimes when you mix peanut butter with ice cream the ice cream gets a gritty texture to it. Not Blue Bunny Peanut Butter Panic. Throughout the peanut butter ice cream there are large chunks of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Also there are ribbons of peanut butter and chocolate which is just icing on the cake. The taste of the peanut butter in Blue Bunny Peanut Butter Panic is very intense. Each bite was like experiencing peanut butter for the first time. That might seem strange but each bite seemed to be better tasting than the last.
According to the product labeling Blue Bunny Peanut Butter panic has 200 calories in a ½ cup serving but if you are like me, ½ a cup of ice cream does not seem like nearly enough. With Peanut Butter Panic in my freezer I won't be able to resist eating as much of it as possible. The ice cream costs about 3.50 for a large container which is more than some ice creams but less than other premium blended brands. The taste and the smooth texture keep me coming back to the Blue Bunny Brand time and time again.
If you love peanut butter, Reese's cups, and chocolate swirls you should give this ice cream a try. I am positive you won't be disappointed with your purchase.

Yuuummmm ... this sounds great! I think I've had BB ice cream at my mom's in southern IN; not sure they carry it here in the northern part of the state but I"ll look. Thanks for the yummy review! I agree - ice cream that's soft to scoop is the best!
