Blueberry Syrup

Mary Wensing Dvorachek
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. water
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 pint of blueberries

Take blueberries, sugar and water and put in a kettle on med heat, and bring to a boil. Then turn the heat to low for 10 minutes until the blueberry mix thickens (stir occasionally).

Run blueberry mix through your blender or food processor and then through a sieve.

Add lemon juice and blueberry juice, mix good. Let cool. Pour into containers and refrigerate. You can store for about 3 weeks. Or freeze for future use.
