I guess that it was always you.
I am forever true blued.
From the first moment that we met.
I am unable to forget.
From the first word.
My heart heard.
I spoke to you.
My senses all flew.
On a journey to find.
My very peace and my own mind.
You delivered me.
To my future destiny.
You still don't know how.
I try to tell you, here and now.
And, funny, you will never understand.
Though, at night, I still hold your spiritual hand.
I saw you when I was a teen.
Your brown hair and brown eyes, dancing in a day dream.
I never knew what it would mean.
Until long after we did meet.
So, I thank you.
My sunny skies are forever blued.
I smile.
I write.
One day.
We will say.
All that mere words can't.
Believe that.
