Bob Evans Breakfast Biscuits Versus McDonalds Breakfast Biscuits

They Taste Great but Your Arteries Won't Be Saying "I'm Lovin It"

I decided to stop at Bob Evans for breakfast today before we went to church. We stayed longer than we planned because our car had a tie rod break. While I was there I was still a little hungry while we were waiting for the tow true, so I decided to order a breakfast sandwich. I always thought that I McDonald's made the best breakfast sandwiches until today.

In addition to the various breakfast platters offered by Bob Evans, they also have breakfast sandwiches on their menu. You get a very good and soft biscuit with ham, sausage or bacon, one egg, and American cheese. I ordered the sausage and it was delicious. It was quite filling. I did not realize it, but it actually comes with double meat. I am like heck this is a great deal. The eggs are done great and not runny as McDonalds can sometimes be. I really can't say anything bad about it. The price was really good as well in that it was only $2.99. That is a great deal for that amount of food.

Now with McDonalds you pay just about that for a sausage or bacon biscuit with egg and cheese. They do not offer ham as of yet. The biscuits there are almost always hard and the eggs are often runny. Another advantage that Bob Evans has is that all of the food is freshly prepared. With McDonalds it is in a bin waiting for you to buy it. The food is supposed to only sit in the bin for ten minutes, but that does not happen unless the board of health unless doing an inspection. I worked in various fast food places when I was younger and I can tell you that food being in the bin for close to an hour is not at all uncommon. I must say I always liked McDonalds. I even own stock in the company, but Bob Evans has the better deal. Out of the two I would say Bob Evans wins hands down.
