We took my granddaughter to see Bobbie for the first time today since Bobbie's brain tumor removal surgery and they really enjoyed seeing each other. Raven was her normal self and showed no fear of mommy at all which is how we wanted it. We had shown her the photos taken right after the surgery so she would see mommy has no hair. No shock factor involved during the visit. Bobbie walked with a walker to the Family Room and visited a bit with us there before returning to her room to finish the visit. She can walk, talk, eat and use the bathroom. It really is a miracle that she is recoverying so well. She is proud of her continuous progress and I can see and hear the "old Bobbie" is back. Occupational therapy works with her to strengthen and evaluate the left arm/hand daily and she is determined to go home sooner than later.
Thank you all for your many continued prayers.
