Breathe
Mother
Goodbye Blue Sky
Goodbye Cruel World
Learning to Fly
Great Gig in the Sky
Wish You Were Here
Bike
Marooned
Echoes
I think Breathe, Echoes are one of the most romantic tunes (not most optimistically romantic sense) that chills your bones and awakens you to another perception. It heightens awareness of the existence with the person you are with. Wish You Were Here is very literal and does do this well too.
Mother, Goodbye Blue Sky, Goodbye Cruel World was played at my Uncle Wayne Parry's last salute while his casket was being lowered. He was murdered by gunshot wounds and a lousy manslaughter case had ensued after a homicide mistrial. My family used the Wall to explain our sadness.
Marooned and Great Gig in the Sky are no lyrics *other than singing ah* and some chattering in the beginning. They are well written songs for the instruments presented in them. They resonate with my feelings when I am in a good mood. They also represent the album that they are on pretty well. It says that it's about mourning, however it makes me feel connected to a higher power somehow.
Bike is just a rare straight forward cheery song and I am engaged to a bicycle enthusiast.
Learning to Fly is great because the melody is once again soothing, and teeters with euphoria.
I never ran into a Pink Floyd song I didn't like, however I didn't listen to the Animals record. I heard it was really experimental. Pink Floyd led me to other great artists such as Mogwai. The best performance of a Pink Floyd song was Wish You Were Here song was done by my friend Ami for a Christmas present. I had grown up on Pink Floyd, they were around before I was born and hopefully continue to produce music or inspire others. They helped me in tough times, also linger on my good memories, as I listen to their music.

I love Pink Floyd! My favorite 80s band has to be Def Leppard though- but Pink is at the top of the list!
Where's "Hey You?"
