The Whistler Sliding Center, in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada, was built for the bobsled, luge, and skeleton competitions for the 2010 Winter Olympics. The bobsled track has a 500 foot vertical drop with 10.5% grade. The 4,800 foot track has thirty-six cameras and forty-two timing eyes.
The 2010 Winter Olympic competitions will include two-man and four-man men's teams and the women's competition include two-woman bobsled teams.
