I was shopping at Wal-Mart and while looking through the body washes, my eyes caught the bottle of Body Essence Raspberry Body Wash. It was in a clear 24 fluid ounce bottle with a pump on the top. I unscrewed the pump and gently caught the scent of raspberries. I read on the bottle that it was ultra moisturizing and was infused with deeply hydrating shea butter beads which sounded very refreshing and smooth. The body wash also contains soy protein, vitamins C and E and powerful tea extracts that said it would gently cleanse and help recondition my dry, sensitive skin. It also mentioned that the tea extracts revitalizes and protects skin naturally against free radical damage caused by daily environmental exposure which I thought was quite interesting. Since it was under $4.00 I thought this might be great to try.
I tried it in the shower by pumping a couple strokes on the pump onto my puff. I really like the pump idea on a body wash. It works a lot easier than those flip tops. It came out of the bottle thick, smooth and shiny. I noticed immediately that I used too much and only should have pumped once to get the correct amount to use. It lathered up generously and quickly and it felt very creamy. I immediately smelled the breathtaking raspberry fragrance that I would say was just the right amount of scent and was delightful. I felt that it was doing a good job cleaning and moisturizing my body.
After I got out of the shower and toweled off, my skin did actually feel smoother and softer. I could smell the wonderful fragrance on my skin and it lasted for about 4 hours after my shower. My skin felt like I had applied lotion all over but no greasy or oily feeling at all.
After using the body wash for about three weeks now, I definitely feel the difference in my skin. It looks better and feels wonderful. I believe this is a fantastic product and a great bargain for the price.
