Bobby Cutts, Jr. was arrested shortly after the discovery of the body of missing pregnant woman, Jessie Davis of the North Canton, Ohio area. Ms. Davis has been the attention of local and national media since Friday, June 15, 2007. Her disappearance was reported by her mother, Patricia Porter on Friday after she hadn't heard from Jessie since they had last spoken on the phone on Wednesday, June 13, 2007.

Upon her arrival at the home of Jessie Davis on Friday, Mrs. Porter reportedly found her grandson, Blake at the home alone with a soiled diaper. She also found her daughter Jessie's bedroom in a disrupted state with various articles of furniture cluttered about the room. She also reportedly found bleach spilled on the floor in the bedroom. The baby, 2-year-old Blake, kept making comments about his mommy crying and breaking a table and being in a rug. It was revealed later that a comforter from Jessie's bed was missing as well as her cell phone. It is speculated that the child commenting about his mommy being in the rug is connected with the fact that the comforter was missing. Ms. Davis' mother immediately knew something was wrong and contacted Stark County authorities.

According to the Breaking News aired on CNN (local cable broadcast Channel 21) WOIO reporter Sharon Reed reported that on Saturday, June 23, 2007, shortly after 1:00 p.m. today, reporters and media outside the home of Bobby Cutts, Jr. began noticing activity around the home that seemed out of the ordinary. Shortly thereafter, authorities recovered the pregnant body of Jessie Davis at approximately 3:30 p.m. The body was found in neighboring Summit County in the area of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

Mr. Cutts has been arrested and is being held in the Stark County Jail. He is facing two counts of murder. One count for the death of Jessie and one count for the death of her unborn child, a girl she planned to name Chloe. Mr. Cutts, a police officer with the Canton Police Department is the father of Ms. Davis' son Blake and presumably the father of the baby girl due July 3, 2007. He has been cooperating with authorities in the case of Jessie's disappearance but until today has denied any involvement with the disappearance.

Sharon Reed, a reporter with WOIO, has stated on CNN that she received a call from a person claiming to be a very close friend of Mr. Cutts and that today, he witnessed from within the home of Bobby Cutts, an apology from Mr. Cutts to his family for what he has put them through the last week and that he indeed was involved in the disappearance of Jessie Davis. Ms. Reeds source gave a scenario that Mr. Cutts evidently confessed to his family and explained what he alleges happened to Jessie and his involvement from there. Approximately 25 minutes after he spoke with his family, Mr. Cutts left his home and shortly thereafter, the family members who had been by his side for support during this ordeal, also began leaving the home.

Reportedly Ms. Reed's source claims Mr. Cutts lead authorities to Jessie's body and that the alleged confession at the home indicated that he witnessed Jessie die after she had tugged on his pant leg before her eyes rolled back in her head and she just passed away. He claims Mr. Cutts said he panicked and called an acquaintance of his to come and help him remove the body. Ms. Reed surmises that Mr. Cutts knew he was about to be incriminated so he just decided to put an end to it by revealing what has played out in the media today. CNN has live, up to the minute coverage airing currently and will continue to broadcast any breaking news in the case.
