Body by Todd or Body by Ted?

At one point or another, almost every person has felt they needed to lose weight. This desire grows especially around holidays and season changes. Now, there is two new players to the game of weight loss and they both guarantee those that follow their program will lose weight fast.

Body By Todd is a weight loss and fitness program developed by Todd Elliott, who has produced more than 3,000 television shows for NBC TV News. Todd graduated with a degree in Exercise Physiology from Ohio State University, then went on to play Semi-Professional Football. Other credits include having a Black Belt in Karate and serving as a U.S. Military Army Leader.

Body By Todd currently offers 10 programs including a customized program allowing the client to work with Todd and his team to setup a plan just for them. Also offered is QVR (Quick Visible Results) which allows a client to get in shape and lose weight by participating in 40 minute group sessions.

According to the Body By Todd website (http://www.bodybytodd.com), the programs offered are based around fitness more than a diet. His team teaches overall fitness and nutritional values which when combined, will provide a safe method to weight loss and overall health.

The other newest player to the weight loss and fitness game is Body By Ted. This program was developed by Dr. Ted Broer who is recognized as a International Health and Fitness Expert.

Body By Ted claims that by proper nutrition alone, virtually any disease and illness can be eliminated. His plan called Eat, Drink and Be Healthy offers an alternative to medical interventions for illnesses such as High Blood Pressure, High Cholesterol and Diabetes.

Body By Ted claims that in just 6 weeks, anyone participating in this program will have a large increase in energy as well as see results in weight loss. They also claim that in the same 6 week period, a person will see a dramatic increase in overall health and that prior medical problems and complications will be reduced.

The program by Body By Ted is handled through recorded audio (cassettes or CDs) and also includes a cookbook.

From the appearance of the Body By Ted website (http://www.bodybyted.com), the program appears to be just another attempt for someone to make money using a popular topic. The claims on the site are somewhat disturbing as it appears that the Body By Ted system suggests to their clients that they should not seek medical assistance on problems.
