Boerum Hill Gun Point Robberies on the Rise

A string of gun point robberies and burglaries have been taking place in Boerum Hill. Precint 78 residents should be on the lookout for any suspicious activity and watch out for their neighbors.

Week of October 10-16

There was a reported burglary at 298 State Street on October 14. A woman had $18,000 worth of jewelry stolen from her and didn't notice until two weeks later.

A victim was robbed on Wyckoff Street on October 13. He told the police that he was threatened with a taser gun. Another thief held a man at gun point on October 11 at Nevins and Pacific Streets, but failed to steal anything.

According to The Brooklyn Paper, two men robbed a cab driver at gunpoint on October 10 on Bond Street.
