Bondage

(...Words Of Bondage, Words of Conceit.)

Brendan W Vittum
Bondage.
(...words of bondage, words of conceit.)

Words,
thought and idea
given form to be consumed
by the public.

A crafter, a sculptor
of word and thought -
the beauty of his vision
created, destroyed
by his word.

A smith, word
smith and master
they call Bones; "nope...
you're not done.
anyways... what
makes you think
you should...
even could...
be done?
"

These but a few
of the words they tell
when he asks to quit -
Words - "Write.
You must, need,
to write - Just not
for, to, me
anymore...
"

So Aglaea
always tells.

Master...? No
he is no master,
or crafter
of thought to word, no
Magician of Verbiage
is it that pens
these words.

Bones's beauty, Bones's
magic and his prowess, words
of creation which destroy?
No scribe of glory - a man,
slave compelled to write,
and through word creating,
destroying Aglaea. A man
in the bondage
of word -
nothing more.
