The efforts to save the life of ten year old Kyle Dean Smith continue full force.

The latest is the scheduling of a bone marrow testing drive at the Paul B. Hall Hospital in Paintsville, KY. The drive will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Employees of the hospital and the general public are invited.

The testing process is simple, painless, and non-invasive. It requires only a swabbing of one's cheek with a cotton swab.

Tests cost $25 per test to process. This cost is optional, but those who can pay it are encouraged to do so.

To be eligible, one must be between the ages of 18 and 60 and in fairly good health (health requirements will be explained in greater detail at the drive). Everyone is invited to be tested whether they already have a donor card or not.
