Bonefish Grill in Orlando, Florida

Restaurant Review

Some guests and residents of the Orlando area avoid the restaurant named Bonefish Grill, because they fear that it only serves seafood. However, that is not the case. Bonefish Grill, in fact, offers numerous starters, soups and salads, grilled specialties, sauteed items, and a few desserts, as well as grilled fish. Here is a restaurant review of Bonefish Grill in Orlando, Florida.

Bonefish Grill has locations in Orlando, Longwood, Ormond Beach and Lakeland, Florida. In Orlando, Bonefish Grill is located at 7830 West Sand Lake Road near the Barnes & Noble. The draw is a relaxed atmosphere with dim lighting and lots of chatter, fine service, and reasonable prices. Start with one of their magnificent martinis. They list a dozen on their menu, including a Chocolate Martini, a Bonefish Martini, a Pomegranate Martini, a Georgia Peach, and an Icicle Aphrodisiac. Or you can choose from their wide selection of wines.

Starters include the Bang Bang Shrimp, Mussels Josephine, Crispy Calamari, and Bacon Wrapped Atlantic Sea Scallops. Salads include the Bonefish Caesar and Florida Cobb, or you can enjoy a cup or bowl of Corn Chowder with Lump Crab.

Of course, as their name suggests, you can order one of their wonderful seafood dishes as your entree. They state on their menu that all fish is seasoned and cooked over a wood burning grill and served with your choice of Lemon Butter Sauce, Virgin Mediterranean Sauce, Warm Mango Salsa, or Pan Asian Style. You can select the Icelandic Arctic Charr, the Gulf Grouper, the Ahi Tuna, the Alaskan Halibut, the Chilean Sea Bass, the Atlantic Salmon, or the Cold Water Lobster Tails to name a few.

If seafood isn't your thing, Bonefish Grill offers a wonderful Filet Mignon that is cooked to perfection, a fine Chicken Marsala, and a delicious dish of Chicken Portabella Pasta. For dessert, I highly recommend trying their Creme Brulee.

Prices of all entrees range from about $13 to $26. The atmosphere is similar at all four Bonefish Grill locations, and the service at all four restaurants is generally fast and friendly. The lighting is dim, and the food is just about always cooked well and tasty. In Orlando, the area where you will find Bonefish Grill is packed with some magnificent but high-priced restaurants, including Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, Antonio's, Moonfish Grill and others. Bonefish Grill is an acceptable alternative if you are in search of a decent meal and are not out to spend an arm and a leg.
