There is no denying one of "Bones'" big draws is the chemistry between Booth and Brennan. Dr. Temperance Brennan is obviously attracted to her counterpart, but she is wound up tighter than an eight day clock. She fears allowing her analytical mind to succumb to feelings and ignores desire altogether.
Booth is a hot investigator, who is at once attracted and repelled by Brennan. He is the one who had a dream about the two of them getting together, after he was shot and in a coma.
The chemistry between Brennan and Booth is one of the driving factors that keep faithful fans glued to the show. There is enough chemistry between the two that at times I feel as if the screen may ignite. Too many times, they have been so close, but within seconds it is painfully obvious that the two are also so far away. It is the 'Will they or want they?' proposition that keeps some fans glued to "Bones."
Of course, the longer the writers can avoid the inevitable hook up, the longer they can string viewers along with strong, interesting story lines and smart humor always underscored by the potential love connection. A Booth - Brennan connection will not happen until a major, dramatic event causes Brennan to get out of her own analytical head. Sure, we are offered plenty of peeks at Dr. Brennan's humanity, but she is so detached emotionally I'm not sure what kind of event could be used to break down such stalwart emotional barriers.
When it happens, Booth will not make the first move. Special agent Booth will always be waiting, even if he said he is moving on. He won't, not in his heart. The current girlfriend doesn't even count. She's just a distraction.
All of the resistance Brennan has displayed toward Booth will make him hesitant to cross the line when Brennan comes around. In fact, his misunderstanding of her intentions, if and when she makes a move, could keep "Bones" major players from ever getting together.
No! But yes, she could analyze her feelings to the nth degree before he ever accepted her true feelings for him.
Not to worry. I fully expect to see the Brennan and Booth connection play out, but I don't expect it to last - not if "Bones" is going to.

This started out to be a very intriguing and interesting series. Alast, like House, the followed the course of secular life-sytles, so I had to drop it. It would really be interesting to see a modern series in which the characters asked God to direct their paths rather than their emotions and their physical urgings.
Thanks. This is the only way I can keep up with the show.
I love Bones and I always thought it would take a major tragedy for them to get together. I thought he would get hurt over seas. I hate that it's taken sooo long. LOL! Your ending has me hanging too. LOL! More updates please!
