While I liked that these latter two models heat the hot chocolate within the container, there are too many parts to clean, and they need to be hand cleaned as opposed to being dishwasher friendly. The ease of use with the Bonjour Hot Chocolate Maker made it the definitive choice for me. I have plenty of kitchen gadgets that are meant to make tasks simpler, but I never use because the clean up afterwards takes too long or is too complicated.

The Bonjour hot chocolate maker is great for having company over - ending dinner with a nice cup of rich hot chocolate is a great variant on coffee. Also a great option to offer to kids at sleep-overs or when the adults are having coffee. If you want a treat, try making it with a gourmet hot chocolate, such as those made by Ghirardelli or Godiva.
