Boo Hoo and Gadaffi!

Julie Wimmer

When we were kids, we used to throw darts at the Ayatolla Kohmeni. The poster was in our basement, and who knows where we actually got a poster of him, but all my dad had to tell us was that he was a bad man and we pelted that thing for months with darts.

These last few years, Muammar, or Momamar, Gadaffi or Qadaffi or Kadafi (apparently no one, including most networks, either don't know how to spell it or don't care) was the picture of late. Plenty of pock marks (not the actual ones on his skin but from darts) line his photo print out in the game room.

But what sucks now, and why we are boo-hooing, is that who can we throw darts at now? We keep killing off all of these enemies, Saddam, Bin Laden and the like, now we are like Superman without any nemeses.

I suppose though, I can get our old copy of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. He is Iran's popular bad boy, but he has been sort of quiet recently, quiet for him at least. Or maybe Kim Jong-il, North Korea's favorite, naughty son. He is certainly an ass.

So boo hoo no more, I say, to myself and others. It's not over yet for Superman!

He has a few sons running around claiming that his death was inhumane. Will the cycle ever end?
