Booger Reds in Oklahoma City

Where to go or what to do? Like to karaoke or just hang out with a bunch of laid back fun loving people? Those are easy questions to answer of course! Booger Reds is the best little "dive" in located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It sits close to a local college and boy does it get busy. Country music and some Rap and R&B come pouring out of the speakers from the beginning. The wait staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks and what you might like. They even do special drinks if you are diabetic or allergic to citrus. Just bring in an unopened diet soda of your choice and let them know and they are usually pretty good about catering to your wishes.

Karaoke is best sung here. Some people should be stars and some should never open their mouths, but at Booger Reds no one cares. It's all about fun and memories which you leave having both. A frequent visitor of Booger Reds, in fact the guy nearly lives there, is who we call "Two Pitcher Jim"! He kicks off the night with a few drinks and the song "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" by Charlie Daniels Band. He is known there and loves being there with everyone who soon becomes his friend. I have never known any misfits in there or outside. I have been hanging out there for about five years or so and it never seems to get old and makes you leave wanting more.

This hopping little place is equipped with lots of seating, full bar, pool tables, and a few dart boards for fun. If you just want to sit and hang out there is plenty of room at the bar. You had better get there early because it does get packed quickly and they would love to have you but there is a maximum people load and like I said the place is small. Complete with a big screen TV, stage for singing on, and of course a dance floor for when the people start letting loose. For birthday parties you receive a shirt and of course people love birthday girls and guys.

The drinks are fantastic and low priced. Several ceiling fans to keep the air circulated and breathable and they will kick open the doors if someone should want them to. The DJ is great too. He has updated karaoke books and will play what you want and you better get your requests in early because you will run out of time to sing because everyone else wants to join in too.
