Book Review: Breaking the Jewish Code

iola reneau
Breaking the Jewish Code is twelve chapters that focus on major principles of living that the Jewish people have been living under since the Old Testament and how applying each of these principles to your life can lead to happier, healthier, spiritually blessed lives. Each code or standard is identified in scripture and then compared with examples of how to apply them in the Christian's life. At the end of each chapter is a condensed synopsis of the chapter under the headings of "What God Knew", "What Devout Jews Know," and "What Christians Should Know."
When I first picked up this book I was unsure about buying it. Would it be over my head or a bunch of irrelevant information? It was neither of those. Really this is a book about the history and roots of a people with a very small population condensed in such away that it is amazingly easy and quick to read. The readability factor for me and any book is the deciding factor in whether or not I will finish it. That factor is very high in Breaking the Jewish Code.
A Christian will learn about their Jewish roots by reading this informative and well organized book.
