Book Review: The book Stress Free for Good written by Dr. Fred Luskin and Dr. Kenneth R. Pelletier reveals 10 stress-busting steps for less stress. Many people all over the world are feeling stressed out. Not having job security and the state of the economy are causing major stress. The book pulls you in with the promise of Stress Free for Good. But can it deliver on that promise?

This book about stress relief got very good reviews on Amazon.com where you can purchase Stress Free for Good. When author's Dr. Fred Luskin and Dr. Kenneth Pelletier collaborated to write this book there was already a plethora of books circulating on stress reduction. They still felt there was a need for at least one more book on stress management.

Most people who feel or have felt stress know at least one stress buster that can help relieve their stress. If you have stress, chances are you have read a book or an article on how to relieve stress. You read the tips about stress relief and maybe do a few that are easy and you feel a little less stressed. Most times the stress keeps coming back and ends up making you feel worse. The Drs. theory was that most stress relief skills are too complicated or not explained correctly so they can't be followed.

So Dr. Pelletier and Dr. Luskin created 10 stress relief exercises called Life Skills that are easily explained and practiced to stop your stress cold. These skills have been tested in clinics and hospitals with many positive results. Most of the 10 Life Skills in the book are ones you have probably already heard of including: deep belly breathing, tensing muscles, slowing down, appreciating others and yourself, visualizing your success and more.

One thing that was nice about the book was that the 10 Life Skills were presented in the way the authors wanted, easy to learn and understand. In Stress Free for Good the goal is to get the reader to practice the stress relief skills daily. By practicing and dealing with stress on a daily basis it will become a healthy habit and the amount of stress will be reduced.

My rating for this book review of Stress Free for Good is a 5 out of 5 stars. If you were looking to reduce stress, I would recommend reading the book Stress Free for Good by authors Dr. Fred Luskin and Dr. Kenneth Pelletier. If you find yourself having more and more symptoms of stress such as: Headache, Muscle Tension, Eye Tics and High Blood Pressure you could benefit from just practicing one of the life skills presented in this book.
