I Can Share by Karen Katz- This is an interactive lift-the-flap book. It features big, bright, appealing illustrations to teach toddlers the message that sharing is caring. Its simple text is ideal for younger toddlers with short attention spans.
Sharing Time by Elizabeth Verdick- The great thing about this book is that it delves into why a toddler may find it hard to share his or her things. It features bright illustrations, and is more suited towards an older toddler who can understand the concepts discussed in the book. This book is part of a series of books by Elizabeth Verdick about various values toddlers are learning about, such as Manner Time, Listening Time, and Calm-Down Time.
I am Sharing by Mercer Mayer- This Little Critter book is about how Little Critter shares with his little sister. It's especially good for teaching about sharing between siblings. The detailed illustrations make looking at the pictures just as fun as reading the story. They are also great for having an older toddler make up a story based on the pictures, an excellent imagination-building exercise.
The Berenstain Bears Learn to Share by Stan and Jan Berenstain w/ Mike Berenstain- You may remember this one from your own childhood! In this classic Berenstain Bears tale, Sister Bear learns about the importance of sharing. Best suited to older toddlers, it features detailed illustrations and a rhyming storyline.
Mine!: A Sesame Street Book About Sharing by Linda Hayward-For little Sesame Street fans, this book features little Bert and Ernie, who at first don't want to share their things with each other but in the end learn to share. The illustrations are big and bright with lots of appealing primary colors.
