Angus & Robertson Bookworld
This popular bookstore is the largest in Brisbane and has several different locations within the city allowing for easy visitation for those staying within different suburbs of Brisbane. You will find their locations at Post Office Square on Adelaide Street, Myer Centre on Edward Street, and at 52 Queen Street in the Queen Street Mall. They provide a large assortment of books in all genres.
World Wide Maps & Guides
This store has an impressive assortment of Travel Guides and Maps for those interested in a little guidance while on their travels. It is popular for those travelling up the Coast. You can find them located at the Anzac Square Arcade at 267 Edward Street
Borders Bookstore
This is another popular bookstore that is relatively large in size. They carry books of all genres and host all the newest titles. They also conveniently have a coffee shop, Gloria Jean's, attached for some relaxing reading time while enjoying your new book. You can find them located at 162 Albert Street just off the Queen Street Mall.
Folio Books
This is an independent bookstore that is not large, but has a fantastic range of titles of various genres. They host all the new releases and have friendly staff to help you locate anything of interest. They are located not far the Queen Street Mall at 80 Albert Street on the corner of Albert & Mary Street.
Archives Fine Books
This is a Used Bookstore that carries a varied assortment of books for reduced purchase. They carry books of all genres, and while some are quite dated there also recent titles within the store as well. They are open seven days a week: Monday - Thursday 9am-6pm, Friday 9am-9pm, Saturday 9am-5pm, and Sunday 10am-5pm. Another popular feature of this bookstore is the fact that they will accept used books for cash which makes trading in a used book for another quite handy. They are located at 40 Charlotte Street.
Emma's Bookshop
This is another Used Bookstore that is located just out of the city in the West End. You can easily take the City Cat or Bus if you are not staying in the West End. They are located at 82 Vulture Street.
