900 Divisions

If you can play an instrument well and are gullible enough to admit to it, the RDC's will try to get you to join a 900 division. Most divisions are given numbers like "Division 540, Division 541 or Division 690", but a division such as "Division 932" will be a band division. 900 Divisions will play the music for other division's BC graduations. When a 900 division graduates, a different 900 division will play for them.

900 divisions are pushed even harder than rifle divisions ("rifle division" is a term used for regular divisions). A 900 division's crew will get even less sleep than a rifle division's crew would, they are expected to play in sync or they will be IT'ed.

Before the sailors in each division get their orders at the end of BC, they will have the chance to opt-in to be in the cermonial band as a Musician. That will replace a Sailor's previous orders and rate, and upon arrival to their command, be automatically promoted to E-6.
