Pros:
I liked the color. It was neutral enough to go with my decor and it looked like a giant squishy boppy. This is what attracted me to purchasing it in the first place. I also figured that I might need a little help sleeping once the baby was born and this might not be a bad item to extend beyond my prenatal days. This pillow also boasts the fact that it is smaller then traditional body pillows which is nice when sharing a bed with someone. You don't feel as though you are taking over all of the bed between your expanding belly and you body pillow.
I liked the fact that it offered support for the stomach. As your stomach expands you need to sleep with something underneath it. Without a pillow I would be completely in pain and never sleep.
The pillow nicely tucks between your legs to make sleeping on your side, which is recommended during pregnancy comfortable. You are able to use this pillow under your neck, under your belly, and then between you legs.
Cons:
The product feels cheaply made. The fabric cover pretty much tore within the first few weeks. The material that the cover was made from felt like something from the ninety-nine cent bin at the fabric store. It did not wash well and did not wear well.
The pillow itself felt like it was stuffed with cheap cotton balls. It was supposed to be squishy and comfortable, but I thought that it would offer more support. This made it hard to use as the only pillow under your neck because there was absolutely no neck support.
This pillow was rather costly. It ranges in price from 44.99 to 49.99. Quite a bit of money to pay for something that seems like it was made for about four dollars.
I did use it through most of my first pregnancy, and then I gave it to the dog to be his pillow. He enjoyed it for a few months then chewed it up.
For my second pregnancy I simply went out and spent $14.99 on a body pillow. The cover is better made, the pillow is more supportive. Yes a body pillow does take up more room then the boppy total body pillow, but for the price and the increased comfort it is worth it.
