Boring Wedding Gifts

Timothy Scheiman
Most wedding gifts are appreciated by a couple but some are just so boring. Maybe thats why some people give cash or gift certificates and let the couple shop for themselves. Wives usually are the practical ones when it comes to asking for something for the house. Cause most people know if left up to men TV's, Stereo's, game consoles, and power tools would be the order of the day. However, some of the gifts you get are extremely boring. In this article I will list just a few.

Picture albums or frames

These are probably one of the worst. Of course the wife and husband is opening gifts together and she gets excited over most all the gifts while the husband is thinking how did I get stuck doing this job. Somebody will always give a picture album or picture frames thinking they will want to start to save their most cherished moments. The gift is a good practical idea but so boring.

His and her towels

Someone will go to the trouble of buying his and her towel set. When a man gets out of the shower he does not care which towel he grabs. Its a nice gift idea but just boring as hell. Who cares whether a towel says his or her on it.

Knick knacks

These are the decorations that people buy to outfit your home. They look nice but they don't do anything. Someone will always buy some stupid seashell decoration that the wife has to put out. So many of these type of gifts are so boring and take up so much space. The worst part is someone will have to dust them and eventually pack them up if you move. Only good thing about candle decorations you can use them if the power goes out.

Appliance you will never use

Needless to say someone will give you a kitchen appliance you will never use. If you did not drink someone would probably give you a beer making machine. The most useless appliances are the ones you would never use or even give them away to other couples as wedding gifts. If you got nine blenders they are more useful than an appliance that dries fruit and vegetables.

Drink coasters

Another good practical gift but oh so boring. Like your going to be entertaining the first year of your marriage a lot anyway. What makes this gift worse is if the giver had made the gift instead of buying it. Most likely it will not match your decor if handmade.

If your lucky you can give away some the worst boring gifts to other couples.
