Boston Terrier - Great Pet for Small Kids

The one thing that little kids love in this world besides ice cream is puppies, but sometime parents are unsure just what type of puppy to get for their little special one. I have asked so many parents with dogs what breed of dog to get and how is the relationship with their dog and the kids, and the answer always seem to be the Boston Terrier so once I realize that majority of parents like to have this type of breed around their smaller kids I decided to do the same, and now I see first hand why this breed is the best.

First of all the Boston terrier only get but so big ranging between 13 and 20 pounds and they are very short pups which is a great thing being around children they love to play with kids and loves to cuddle with them as well. The temperament of Boston pups overall is that they are very friendly and far from being to aggressive. When your child is in the play area playing with there toys be sure to have doggie toys for your Boston because they love toys, and will easily stay content with their toys. Boston terriers are very smart they have a high intelligences level and normally is fulled with compassion this type of puppy is exactly what you would want around your kids.

Boston terriers have a smooth coat and mostly black in color with white markings, sometime brindle or seal in color it is very very rare to see a Boston in any other color. This breed of dog don't sheds hair often so you don't have to worry to much about grooming, and hair being all over your home. They love to be outside ruining around playing with kids and love to ride in cars. They have been known to be very affectionate by nature and I believe that to be true with the one that I have, and other Boston's that I have been around. I have noticed that Boston terriers are very alert pets, gentle, and kind I have also noticed that being underneath blanket is a bit of a joy for them.

To sum it up know that Boston terriers are gentle, kind pets and you want have to hear a bunch of unnecessary barking because that only bark when it's needful. If you do not have one, but want a great pets that is suitable for your younger children then the Boston Terriers are the top pick. I have known them to be around children as young as 1 years old they are very well mannered pets and keep in mind that they are one of America's popular pets so go get one you want regret it.
