Boudreaux's Butt Paste Ends Diaper Rash and More

Ointment Works on Diaper Rash, Heat Rash, and Other Mild Skin Irritations

Jo Brielyn
Diaper rash is one childhood ailment that is sure to strike every baby or toddler at least once. It appears as irritation, redness or small, red bumps on the lower abdomen, buttocks, genitals, and thigh folds (the areas generally covered by a diaper). Although diaper rash doesn't usually present a serious problem, it can be very uncomfortable for the child. Cleaning the affected area, allowing it to dry completely, and applying a diaper rash cream will help relieve this discomfort and protect the skin from future rashes. The best product on the market for treating diaper rash, as well as other minor skin irritations, is Boudreaux's Butt Paste.

Upon reading the name of this product, you may be thinking, "Is this some sort of bad potty joke?" Let me assure you, the name and the product are real. Boudreaux's Butt Paste has been on the market since the 1970s. And don't let the silly name fool you. This ointment is highly effective at eliminating diaper rash and other mild skin problems.

My first experience with Boudreaux's Butt Paste came a few years ago. My infant had developed her first diaper rash. The product I'd been using (which shall remain nameless) wasn't properly healing the rash. As I searched the drug store shelves, my eyes drifted to a bright yellow box and I read, "Boudreaux's Butt Paste." I concede it was my curiosity about the unusual name that first prompted me to buy Butt Paste.

While it was the catchy title that lured me in that first day, it is the effectiveness of Boudreaux's Butt Paste that has made me a repeat customer and supporter. After using this diaper rash ointment for only one day, I noticed the redness already disappearing from my daughter's skin. By the end of the second day of application, the diaper rash was gone.

In addition to its effectiveness, Boudreaux's Butt Paste also has other qualities that make it stand out among other diaper rash creams. Unlike some products, it spreads on and cleans off easily (from the child AND your hands). The ointment has a light scent that is more pleasant than the overpowering medicinal odor of many diaper rash products. It comes in a tube with a flip top cap which makes access quicker and easier. Boudreaux's Butt Paste also is available in convenient travel size containers that fit effortlessly in a travel case or diaper bag, so one never needs to be without it.

If the before-mentioned merits alone aren't enough to convince you to try Boudreaux's product, then consider its other proven uses. While the primary purpose of this ointment is to treat and prevent diaper rash, Boudreaux's Butt Paste is also praised by consumers as being effective for healing many other minor skin irritations. Some of the most common disorders Butt Paste works on are: heat rash, jock itch, poison ivy and oak, hemorrhoids, minor burns, shingles, and feminine itching.

Now at the first sign of a diaper rash or other minor skin irritation, Boudreaux's Butt Paste is the diaper rash ointment I trust for help! No butts about it!

Hi P.J.--I'm a fellow AccentuateServices member. I'm a pharmacist and familiar with butt paste. Different manufacurers make it and we used to compound it a lot until the proprietary formulas came out. Zinc oxide is usually the active ingredient in these products. Good article.
