1. They act as excellent, toxic and chemical-free bug repellents. Letter carriers often tuck one away in either their uniform pocket or mail bag to deter yellow jackets and even mosquitoes while walking their mail route. If you have this problem while enjoying the outdoors in the summer months, keep a bounce sheet close by or rub your arms and legs with the sheet. It should help to keep the pesky mosquitoes away (especially now that there is so much worry over West Nile Virus).
2. Bounce sheets deter ants from crawling all over your home and yard. Just keep a sheet out where you find them congregating.
3. Spread sheets around the foundation of your home, trailers or vehicles. They are known to deter mice as well, so anywhere you might suspect these creatures hanging about, use those bounce sheets.
4. If you have any older books or photo albums, that don't get opened very often, place cut strips of bounce sheets in the pages to eliminate any odors.
5. Because bounce sheets work so well for static cling in your clothing, why not also use them to prevent static electricity from building up around your television and computer screen. Give both a good wipe down with a bounce sheet to keep the static down and the dust from settling.
6. If you have shower doors that seem to always have a soap scum build up, clean them with a bounce sheet. This will help to alleviate that scum from adhering to the shower doors.
7. Bounce sheets make excellent room fresheners. Again, without the use of toxic or perfumed sprays, a bounce sheet will do the job just as well. Keep a sheet tucked under the cushion of a sofa, in drawers, hanging in closets and tucked in linen cupboards. It's sure to keep rooms and closets smelling fresh.
8. Put a sheet in the vacuum cleaner. Every time you vacuum your floors and carpets, the scent will waft through the house, leaving it smelling clean and fresh.
9. To prevent your thread from twisting and tangling while sewing, run your threaded needle through a bounce sheet first. Voila, no more tangled and broken threads.
10. Before storing away your suitcases and duffel bags, place a bounce sheet inside. This will prevent them from smelling musty, so that the next time you're ready to pack, your clothes will not pick up any lingering odors. Also, place a new sheet in with your packing. It will keep your clothes smelling fresh for when you've reached your destination.
11. Keep your vehicles smelling fresh at all times. Tuck a bounce sheet under the seat. It'll be unseen, but the freshness and pleasant odor will keep on working.
12. If you have trouble removing stubborn baked-on food from your pans, put a bounce sheet in the pan. Then fill with water and let sit overnight. It should be easy to just sponge clean the pan in the morning. The anti-static agent in the sheets weaken the bond between the food and the pan.
13. Place sheets in all your wastebaskets. It's an economical and easy way to eliminate waste odors and so much better than using aerosol can sprays, making it better for your home environment.
14. Again, because of bounce's excellent static free capabilities, it makes them excellent magnets for attracting pet hair. Rub a sheet over bedding, sofa cushions or anywhere your pets leave clumps of hair. A cheap and easy way to keep all your surfaces clear of pet hair.
15. Wipe all your venetian blinds with a bounce sheet. This will prevent a lot of dust from settling, keeping your blinds looking clean a lot longer.
16. Bounce sheets are even good to have in the garage, where you might find sawdust from drilling, cutting or sanding wood. A used bounce sheet collects the sawdust like a tack cloth.
17. Bounce sheets are even good "before" you do your laundry. Keep a sheet in your hampers/laundry bags to eliminate dirty laundry odors.
18. Cut bounce sheets into strips and place each strip into shoes. No matter where you store your shoes, whether in a closet, or on a shoe rack by the door, the sheets will keep foot/shoe odors from wafting into the air.
19. Golfers will often keep a supply of bounce sheets in their golf bags. This way, they will always have them handy to keep away bees, yellow jackets and even mosquitoes while they're on the course (an excellent place for these pesky insects to breed).
20. Always be sure to use bounce sheets in your sleeping bags and tents before storing them away during the off season. This will ensure their freshness when it comes time to using them again. As well, any heavy blankets and bed linens that must be stored away before winter use, keep a bounce sheet tucked inside.
21. If you happen to have rooms in your home that you don't often use, such as basement rooms, hang or tie a bounce sheet to the register or vent. As the air circulates through the vents, it will keep the room from getting that musty, unused scent.
I'm sure there are many more uses for Bounce Sheets. One is only limited by their own imagination! See how they can work for you.
