Not much room for improvement right?
Apparently the folks at Bounce disagreed.
The Bounce Lint & Freshness Roller is advertised as being a combination of a traditional lint roller and a Bounce dryer sheet. The advertisements tout that the roller freshens as it cleans, and I agree.
This product delivers!
The bright orange and white Bounce Lint & Freshness Roller is the same size as a standard lint roller, and also comes in a smaller travel size. The product works much like a standard lint roller, sticky peelable paper that you roll across your clothes to remove lint and hair. But, unlike other rollers, the paper is covered in tiny orange, "scented microdots." These dots are supposedly infused with the same scent as Bounce dryer sheets.
Priced at $4.99, I was a little reticent about spending the extra cash for a lint roller, even if it was supposed to make me smell nice. However, after using it for a while I can honestly say that it was well worth the $4.99.
Being the owner of a white dog and a black dog, hiding dog hair on my clothing is next to impossible. I have definitely used my fair share of lint rollers.
The first notable feature of the Bounce Lint & Freshness Roller was the fresh Bounce scent. If you're a fan of Bounce dryer sheets then you'll love the smell the roller leaves on your clothing. The roller leaves just a hint of the famous flowery scent without being too overpowering.
Another surprising feature was the ease that the adhesive paper sheets came off of the roller. Generally I have a problem with the paper tearing on cheaper lint rollers. The Bounce roller has eliminated this problem. I haven't had a piece on the roller tear or shred like on cheaper rollers.
Once the lint roller is empty it can easily be refilled instead of purchasing another roller. Changing out the roll is easy and effortless. Also, by visiting the Bounce web site you can print off a coupon for $1 off the refills.
The advertisements say that the roller is great for carpets, upholstery and other household fabrics, however, even after the coupon savings I think that the roller is a little too pricey for general use.
All in all the Bounce Lint & Freshness Roller is definitely worth the extra bit of money.
