Bounty Hunter Dog Gone

Duane Lee Chapman Dog Jr

On October 6, 2007 Duane Lee Chapman, didn't show enough respect towards the Inter-Tribal elders during the 33rd Annual Inter-Tribal Powwow, in Honolulu.

Dog oldest Jr. made a huhu, Dog Sr. tried to smooth things over by throwing a wad of American dollars on TOP of the drum, adding insult to injury by saying that the WhteMn$$ 'mo supreme over nation drum. His son was already sabotaging his father like a 'Cracker Trailer Trash Jerry Springer Shakespearian Greek Tragedy', before the racist rant came out.

During a powwow, there is a dance circle area that is marked with tape on the earth. It's the space for the dancers to dance and spectators stay behind. At the powwow, handwritten signs were posted at entrances to Thomas Square park stating, "A&E filming, upon entering this park, you are agreeing to be filmed." In the early afternoon of the powwow, the entourage of the famous A&E reality TV series "The Bounty Hunter" arrived.

Numerous cameras crowded around the Chapman clan, obscuring the nexus of attention. Duane Chapman Sr. gave a very short speech and than a honor dance ensued.

After the "Bountiful Beth Bounce Dance" and posted the video 33rd Annual Inter-Tribal Powwow online. Numerous comments on YouTube prompted me to search for other video posted of that powwow. The same vein of comments about the disrespectful actions of the oldest son were similar in an article posted on buddytv.

At buddytv, the article "Dog the Bounty Hunter Star Attends Pow Wow in Honolulu", a number of negative comments were posted about the oldest son Duane Lee. Several witness have commented about how Duane Lee interfered with the drum beating during a sing. Duane Lee probably didn't realize the gravity of the sacred tradition of getting permission first from the elders to sing in the ceremonial honoring.

In the article published in February 2006 called, "The Spirit of Pow Wow Awakened After Biennial Hiatus" from UWP, Skip Twardosz, a Potawatomi Sacred Circle member is quoted to say, "The people take their regalia seriously, you don't want to come up to someone and just touch their regalia."

A&E was filming that day and probably have it on tape.

After A&E producers of the show listened to the National Enquirer's audio of "The Dog" rant, ""I'm not going to take a chance ever in life of losing everything ... because some f------ n----- heard us using n----- and turned us into the Enquirer magazine...", A&E froze all production of the show "The Bounty Hunter".

Duane Lee Chapman,, The Dog's eldest son from his first wife, sold the tape to the National Enquirer.

The only thing that I have to say about this article is that the author should get their facts straigt about who sold the tape to the Enquirer. It wasn't Duane Lee, it was Tucker, the son who was in jail.

Is Dog a racist? Yes, he is a racist because if you look at the facts he repeatedly said the "N" word to his son on the phone without realizing he was being recorded. If you say something once then maybe you can justify it by saying it was an accident but not 4 or 5 times in the first couple of sentences. I saw Dog on Larry King Live the other night and even though he does "appear" to be remorseful we all know he is only doing this to try and save his reality show. He even had his black spiritual advisor, whatever that means, on the show with him to back him up and take some of the heat from what was obviously a racial statement. Just because you have 1 black friend doesn't mean that you are not an insensitive jerk. And there's another question no one has addressed: why hasn't Dog apologized to his son's girlfriend? There was a video clip of Monica on Larry King also in which she stated that Dog has never made an effort to apologize to her, the only apology she has received came from D
