Bounty Hunter, You'll Love It!

Lisa Wallace
When I think of a bounty hunter my mind automatically goes to the TV series Dog the Bounty Hunter that airs Wednesday nights on A&E. A bounty hunter is defined as a bail enforcement agent that captures fugitives who skipped out on a hearing, for a lump sum of money. Dog the Bounty Hunter is about a family of fugitive recovery agents, who of course track down fugitives, while trying to maintain a business and personal life.

Recently released (2010) is the hit movie The Bounty Hunter. This hysterical romantic comedy movie stars Jennifer Aniston as Nicole Hurley and Gerard Butler as Milo Boyd. This always at-odds duo finds their selves on a chase of a lifetime.

Milo Boyd is an ex police officer who is now an unlucky bounty hunter after his divorce from a nine month marriage to Nicole Hurley. Nicole Hurley is a reporter who is working on a murder cover-up story, and is eventually caught onto by the accomplices in the murder. Not knowing that Nicole is already being chased, Milo is thrilled to find out that his next assignment is to log his ex-wife off to jail. Boyd and Hurley have not seen each other since the divorce, so things are a bit tense when they reunite with each other. When they get stuck in Cupid's Cabin, where they went for their honeymoon, things get emotional. For most people this might have struck a chord, it did for me. Her words were so true; Nicole asks him "Why do people deny that they've done anything wrong in a relationship? Why can't they take responsibility for their stuff and move on?" That statement can make a person think. And for a few moments it seems as though there will be reconciliation until something goes terribly wrong.

I just finished watching The Bounty Hunter, and I give it two thumbs up. And, if you want to watch a movie that will lift your spirits after a hard day, this is it. You will laugh all the way through this entire movie.

You can also find Gerard Butler in movies such as How to Train Your Dragon (2010), Law Abiding Citizen (2009), Phantom of the Opera (2004), Gamer (2009), and many more.

Jennifer Aniston is best know for her role Rachel Green in the television series Friends. You can also find her in these movies; Along Came Polly (2004), Bruce Almighty (2003), The Breakup (2006), Marley and Me (2008), He's Just Not That Into You (2009), and many more.
