Atmosphere and Cleanliness
The atmosphere at Bourbon Street is extremely nice. It is dimly lit with a small lamp at each table, and the interior is decorated to emulate a New Orleans style restaurant. They have soft music playing in the background, and most of it sounds like something you would hear walking down a street in New Orleans. It adds nicely to the atmosphere, and isn't annoying or obtrusive. Bourbon Street is also very clean, and the tables, seats and floor are always spotless.
Service
The service is generally very good. The servers are kind, intelligent, and most know the menu inside and out. You always get enough attention for refills or comments about the food, but not so much attention that it gets annoying. All of the staff including the manager are nicely dressed and have an aura of relaxed professionalism about them.
Menu Selections/Food Style
The selection at Bourbon Street is fairly wide. They offer an array of seafood, steak, pork, chicken and pasta along with several side dishes. The food is prepared "New Orleans" style, meaning most of it is at least mildly spiced, however not overly so. They also have a good selection of wines on the wine list and many other 21+ beverages.
Quality of Food
The quality of the food at the restaurant is superb. While some of the portions are smaller, it is because they use very high quality foods and portion control helps keep the costs down. All of the meat is hand cut and weighed, the seafood is always fresh as is the pork and chicken. The sides are prepared to the same standard of quality, always fresh and warm.
Taste
Bourbon Streets food is delicious. Everything on the menu is usually top notch in its taste, and nothing is ever below average. Every now and then you get something cooked incorrectly, or a meal you don't enjoy but those are the dangers with trying new things and even those are few and far between. Everything is cooked to perfection and spiced extremely well. Everything is usually absolutely awesome. You may not get stuffed eating here, but you will almost certainly enjoy the food you get.
Cost
The food here isn't cheap. It is very easy to order $40+ of food and drink for one person, and with more than two people the bill quickly jumps above $100. You get what you pay for, but you wouldn't want to eat here every night.
Overall
Bourbon Street is a great place to eat. A nice environment, great service and delicious food and drink all combine to give you a great dining experience. Perfect for special occasions or those little splurges we all love! Try it out, you won't be disappointed!

Post a CommentWe have eaten st the Bourbon Street restaurant and will definitely return. Great location, service, decor, large menu and best of all fantasic Cajun food. We recommend it highly for a great dinning experience.
Had a chance to visit Bourbon Street.. Nice restaurant, but that was it. The service was slow, food was cold and when asked for the check, it was way over priced.
