Boxing Day in South Carolina
Why can't we get twice as many presents ?
Why can't we get twice as much candy,cookies and gifts?
Why can't we get twice as much cards?
Then one day I flew to another country
It was called Great Britain
They celebrated Christmas for two days instead on just one
I liked this celebration
When I got older
I celebrated Christmas in this British style
It's called BOXING DAY
(This is in homage to the wonderful after Christmas Holiday called Boxing Day, this special day after Christmas recognizes public servants and officials where one presents them with small gifts and niceties for what they have done throughout the year it is also recognized in Canada and in my household.)
