Boy George Arrested for Kidnapping / Assault

According to the British Tabloid newspaper, "The Mirror" Boy George was arrested for chaining a male escort to a wall, and imprisoning him. Auden Carlsen, a 28 year old man claims he met Boy George, whose real name is George O'Dowd, on a gay dating website called Gaydar. He says he agreed to meet Boy George in his London flat to take photos, and there were no plans for sex.

Somehow this little party got out of control. Auden claims Boy George and another unidentified man chained and shackled him to a wall. "George handcuffed me to a hook by the bed as they held me down." Auden managed to pull a hook from the wall, and escape. He ran to a local newspaper stand, only wearing under ware, and called the police Saturday morning.

The official statement from a spokesperson for the London PD said "We investigated reports of an alleged forced imprisonment and common assault made by a 28-year-old man. A man in his 40s was arrested in connection with the investigation."

Boy George was arrested, released on bail and must appear back in court.
