The Obama administration has called the efforts of BP unacceptable but has done little itself to force BP's hand to get the problem solved.
Citizens of the region, along with Americans as a whole, have grown weary of BP's continued failures at closing off the leak.
Many political leaders and national figures have condemned BP and President Obama for allowing the disaster to last this long.
It is amazing to this writer, that we can send men to the moon. Send exploratory vehicles to Mars. Go on numerous missions to The International Space Station. Conduct complex repairs to the Space Station but cannot stop an underwater oil leak on our own planet.
BP has tried everything from capping the leak to stuffing a conglomerate of old tires and golf balls into the hole in order to stop the flow of crude oil. One would think in this high-tech world in which we live, that BP could come up with a more technologically advanced solution than old tires and golf balls.
The very simple truth of the matter is that BP is playing games.
It is blatantly obvious to anyone with an ounce of reasoning ability, that BP is not genuine in their efforts to subdue this disaster.
They are faking it. The question is, why?
Are they hoping to stall long enough to drive the price of gasoline up? Because stalling is exactly what they are doing.
What BP fails to realize however, is the longer they take to "try' to stop the oil leak, the more irreversible damage may be being done to the ecological environment in the gulf.
Seagulls and other inhabitants to the area are suffering horribly and even now some residents and some of those working to control the spill are becoming sick.
All while BP literally sits on it's hands and says that there is nothing that they can think of to stop the disaster from getting any worse.
I find that hard to believe.
BP is the expert in oil extraction and damage control, not the federal government. However the government may need to become experts since BP can't literally seem to figure out which end is up.
It is appalling and disturbing to think that BP is deliberately delaying solving the problem in the gulf but by all accounts, that seems to be exactly what they are doing.

Post a CommentEvery single effort BP has made was tried in Mexico when they had an offshore well blow, and they failed. This is all such a big joke, I just can't even stand watching the news about it anymore.
